Tension Headaches

A tension headaches is the most common type of a headache out there. It can cause mild, moderate, or
intense pain in the head, neck, and behind the eyes. Tension headaches may occur two times a month,
or they can become chronic, lasting up to 15 days out of the month. A variety of foods, activities, and
stressors, will trigger tension headaches. Fortunately, Dr. Clay Warren D.C. at

Some people may develop tension headaches from staring at a computer screen for a long time, or after
driving for long periods. Other triggers for tension headaches include alcohol, fatigue, a sinus infection,
poor posture, or emotional stress. To manage tension headaches, Dr. Clay
Warren D.C. may suggest exercises, improving quality of sleep, or drug-free treatment such as massage
therapy, physical therapy, or spinal manipulation.
